On Wednesday, February 05, 2020, Prof. Dr. Zamin Iqbal (European Molecular Biology Laboratory, EMBL-EBI, Hinxton, UK) will give a talk as part of the colloquium series of the CBI in WT 2019. A team of Stanford University School of Medicine scientists including the speaker of the CBI professor Andreas Keller can reliably predict people's age by measuring proteins in their blood. In an interesting study, the team showed that many different proteins change markedly with advancing age. Furthermore, the study strengthened the case that men and women, who were about equally represented in the study, age differently.
