Dr. Andre Holzer und Prof. Sven Rahmann have been awarded a grant from Saarland University to further strengthen the teaching and research outreach activities of the ZBI.
By utilising interactive LEGO DNA-sequencer to illustrate DNA sequencing and associated bioinformatic research, the researchers aim to stimulate the interest of students for the field of bioinformatics.
